2010 northstar adventure pics

Each of these cabanas have lovely fire pits inside.

The garlic fries were delicious.

Northstar at Tahoe has some of the best runs in area.

My favorite run of the day was east edge down through the woods and ending up in the Village. This is definitly one for cruising down with your tunes pumping through your earbuds. It has excellent scenery with nicely groomed snow.

2.26.10 Northstar Adventures

Instead of rewriting this I'm taking the more efficient approach.

This was cut and pasted from an email in respnse to chris w.

The trip home was had nonout of the ordinary events. I did try a chorrizo burrito from Jack in the box. Mmmm. About two hours after I got home I had to drive another 3 hours with my cousin to tahoe to get a head start on snowboarding the next morning. The hotel was ok. Nothing like the ritz Carlton that was actually in the ski resort. I'm pretty sure northstar at tahoe used the same designers that built mammoth village. The central village area looks exactly alike exept northstar took it up a few notches and had really nice outdoor furniture kinda like Janus blah blah blah. Oh and there were really pretty cabanas. I think you'd like it.

The only drama was getting back home from lake tahoe last night. The snow didn't let up so we had to put our chains on. We were stopped for over an hour waiting for the authorrities to clear up an accident.
I'm having a good time up here.
How is your weekend going?
